Just one more sleep until the Edinburgh Night Ride 2017!!!
50 miles is not that far for some, but for me it was a goal – something to aim for after the horrendous events of 2015 when we suddenly and unexpectedly lost an incredible lady – my Mum and Lukas’ Nana. I don’t mind admitting that I was in a bad place and it certainly took time to come to terms with the huge loss. Two years on, and I am in a better place. Thanks so much to everyone who was there for me, and my family. This ride is in memory of Diane Susan Andrés. I love you Mum.
So far we have raised £525 plus gift aid online, and have collection tins out there, plus later today my son and his buddy will be doing a school penalty shoot out event. Its such a fantastic amount of money raised for Breast Cancer Now charity. Thank you to every person for their kind and generous support.
I would like to extend huge thanks to the following:
The Wellbeing Centre – Especially Christina and Emma, Paula, David for the excellent Bike Fit session, and Ben. Sharon Edwards – I thank you for all the support from day one, and you are an inspirational and amazing lady.
Physiotherapy Works – for promoting the fundraising at the four branches.
XL Print – Thanks Paul for the hard copy media
Queen Sports Club and the wonderful Sarah Kippax – Thanks for promoting the cause
My dear friend Michelle of Michelle Lad Reflexology – thanks for the amazing Reflexology!
Corrine Kielty for the Breeze Cycling support!
